The registered Texas Longhorn cattle are raised by Darryl and Sue Swain, third generation farmers. Our pure Texas Longhorn cattle graze on lush, legume pastures and are allowed to grow at their own natural rate with no growth hormones or steroids or by-products added. In the winter months they are fed corn and hay raised by us on our farms. They have free choice salt and trace minerals. Yes, this takes longer to produce, but the final product is more than worth it in quality of beef. You are not only what you eat, but also what you eat, eats. We feel we can’t stress enough the importance of NOT feeding antibiotics and growth hormones. In our opinion, children especially, should not be eating beef that was raised implanted with growth hormones. Do you know where your grocery gets its beef?
